Kristen Messersmith serves as an Account Executive for Mac Strategies Group, supporting the firm’s strategic communications and public affairs practice from our Springfield office. Previously serving on communications staff for the Illinois Senate, Kristen honed her skills in media relations and public policy while gaining a thorough understanding of the Illinois General Assembly and its diverse body of members. She values client relationships and seeks to fully understand the specific needs of each client to best serve their communication needs.

Kristen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations and Political Science at Illinois State University. She resides in Springfield with her husband and three children.
