Kola Ogunshote is an Account Executive at Mac Strategies Group, working to execute responsibilities on client accounts while supporting efforts to develop key messaging, communications strategy and expand media outreach for clients. Kola has agency and in-house experience in strategic communications planning and execution. His professional interests span the broad area of corporate communications, media relations, digital communications, events management, nonprofit communication, and crisis management. Before joining Mac Strategies Group, he honed his communication skills working at a multinational telecommunications company where he collaborated with other team members to leverage products and services, and build a corporate reputation. A keen student of communications and its intersection with politics, marketing, and issue advocacy, Kola earned his master’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising from DePaul University. He currently resides in Chicago’s West Ridge neighborhood.
