Julie Larsen is an Account Executive for the Mac Strategies Group. She serves a valuable role for the firm's growing public affairs practice specializing in account research and targeted media outreach.
Prior to joining the team in 2015, Larsen gained experience with a national public relations agency in the St. Louis area where she had the opportunity to expand her knowledge and skills through working on a wide variety of accounts ranging from consumer goods to public affairs. She assisted senior team members in account research and reputation management, as well as new business development. Larsen was also part of a research team working to develop a comprehensive case study surrounding ‘livable’ and ‘complete streets’ programs in Missouri in an effort to make communities safer. Julie researched communities throughout the state that already had these platforms and established identifiers proving how these programs impacted communities from a health and economic stand point. The case study will be utilized to help grow the program throughout Missouri.
Originally from the Chicagoland area, Julie Larsen graduated with dual degrees from the University of Missouri; a Bachelor of Journalism with an emphasis in Strategic Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
