Delay of Free-Trade Pacts Creates Uncertainty for Manufacturers...

Mac Strategies Group client, Jason Speer, Vice President and General Manager of Quality Float Works, Inc. was tapped to testify before the

U.S.Senate Finance Committee in May 2011 in support of the U.S. -Panama Free Trade Agreement.  The international market accounts for nearly one-third of Quality Float Works Inc.'s business. This small manufacturer of metal floats used to control fluid levels in industrial applications has grown its export business to 30% from just 3% approximately 10 years ago.  See Industry Week's great profile piece on the debate surrounding Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), including comments from Jason Speer here!

Coalition's Poll Shows Interest, Support Waning For IL Death Penalty

Mac Strategies Group client, the Illinois Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty (ICADP), went out to the field to find out where the public stand on the issue of the death penalty - and the results were surprisingly encouraging in their push for repeal. We took them to the state capital's newspaper to make their case.  See our client's work on this important issue here
